A Course In Change
Commissioned by the General Services Administration (GSA) for the San Antonio Texas Federal Building.
'A Course in Change' altered the walking patterns on this site. Constructed with four types of Texas limestone, marble, slate and red sandstone, the sculpture is the focal point of four extending walkways which connect the Federal office building to the courthouse and adjacent parking lots. The two lowest horizontal stones serve as seating. The sculpture measures 11 feet high by 11 feet in diameter at its base. Total site measures 135 feet by 78 feet.
